I would like to contact any Holders that belong to the Gabriel and Rhoda (Reed) Holder family. I have had a DNA test on this line and we are a 24 out of 25 match to the line of Capt. John Holder. This means we are very closely related. Luke Holder is the known father of Capt. John Holder. He had one other son, Francis, and daughter Margaret. We know the children of Capt. John and Margaret but none of Francis's children. I am sure Luke Holder also had other children but are not known by myself. Does anyone have any clues? On the marriage records of Wayne Co, KY the listing clearly shows the groom as ALBAN Jones and the marriage date of 30 Jul 1818. Polly married ALBAN Jones, son of Joshua Jones and Hannah Todhunter. Phoebe - try logging in using the user name and password you chose when registering and let me know if it lets you in. AOL has some pretty aggressive spam filtering in place, and it is possible that the email was caught in that, or that there is a server issue between the russell register server and your local server. Betty, Subscribing to the print edition of the newspaper is $25.00, but registering for the website is free as far as I know. On the website, left column near the top is a login area. Underneath that is a link to create an account for the web site. It's just basic information that is requested. I also just posted a welcome message for people, since I am moderating the forum.
