Wooldridge... it shows that one of Marshall's daughter... Mary F., b DeKalb Co., TN Jan. 29, 1849, d. Dec. 19, 1884 married James Martin, would this be the connection to the Martin line you need?

Name spelling changed later to Wooldridge. MOther of Marshal and William was Martha Cantrell. There is a 14 year old James Martin living with them in 1880. I am hoping to find out more about a possible Martin and Woldridge Connection. I know they lived adjacent properties in 1850 in DeKalb, TN

I have a marriage record for Isham Bollin and Lydia Wilson 1824. Isham shows up in census records as having children. How is he connected to your family?

He married Julian Hughes sometime in 1840's (after 1842- I have not been able to locate their marriage info). They had no children together that I know of. I think Isham Sr. died in Russell County ( I have located him on later census's... either in 1870 or 1880 he is living in Jamestown Kentucky "living the retired life"). I personally dont have any info on him other than how he ties into my family; however, there are several records in Russell County that I have seen over the years dealing with Bolin (and its variant spellings). At the KDLA, Kentucky Archives, also has some of the original court & legal records, which I observed while doing research. Again, sorry I dont have specifics but if you get a chance to go to either place you may find some stuff.

My Bowlin line has been a brick wall for me. I can find everybody from 1870 on, but prior to that, I am stuck. I found out a couple of things while in Salt Lake City last year, which helped tremendously, but I would love to trace it back as far as possible. It is very possible this line goes back as far as Pocahontas, but I do not have any real evidence yet.... If you would like a copy of my report, I would be glad to send it to you. Debbie

All, I am helping a friend with a search. Can anyone look up the records (or has info) on Larkin Popplewell who married Cora George in June 1920. Larkin was born ca. 1903, Cora born ca. 1906 (to my knowledge both in Russell County). Larkin passed away in 1992 and Cora in 1993 (to my knowledge both in Russell County). Larkins mothers name was Ella( not positive). Any information on either party is much appreciated, but my focus is Larkin. Thanks, Gina
Charlene: Could it have been Will Addison Richards who married Lillie Phelps or one of his offspring?? Marilyn
