    3. Hi, Dr. Walter Wayne Smith was first cousin to my grandmother Elaine Abigail Stephens. I have aoll his letters to her starting in 1900 and her letters to him were all in the files in Salisbury, Rowen Co, NC. I have been to his collection three times, staying three to four days each time. I am still not finished. William Surber Wilson is also a cousin, we are all descended from William Cornell Stephens and Elizabeth Williams. If anyone wants info on the Stephens, Wilson, Hopper families, etc. I am willing to help. I don't have excel so I am just putting it into my document file. I haven't worked with excel before so didn't know what to look for.
