I am looking for any information on Fielding Bradshaw who married Nancy Whittle June 19, 1855 in Russell Springs. Married by Wm. W. Bernard, M.G., at Nancy Whittle's. Bond June 18, 1855. Geo. W. Carrol as surety. Witnesses: George Carrol, Moses H. Wilson. Groom's age 29. Bride's age 48. Does anyone know who parents of Fielding were or any of Fielding's children's names (if any). It is possible this is the Fielding who later moved to Illinois or Nebraska. Thanks. Alene Bradshaw

Steve, Sorry I haven't responded to your request sooner, but this month has been rather hectic here in Lexington, Ky. I have a rather flexible schedule especially during the summer, and I would be more than happy to help you out "proofreading" census records for Russell County. My Lester ancestors were from Russell County (Swan Pond Bottom, Kendall and Creelsboro areas) and I have been researching several other families from Russell County, therefore I'm reasonably familiar with surnames in this county. Don't know how you will communicate with us/me, but if you want to contact me via snail mail, I can be reached at the following: Denny Lester 3161 Arrowhead Court Lexington, Ky. 40503 (859) 223-5298 On May 3, 2004, at 9:15 PM, srconner@swbell.net wrote: > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Surnames: CENSUS > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/XBB.2ACE/1685 > > Message Board Post: > > I am currently transcribing the Russell County census and am seeking > volunteers for proofreading.
