Dear Fellow ListMembers: The following newspaper article regarding the historical development of the railroad may be pertinent to those whose family may have worked on the railroad or benefitted from its installation. About Completed. Morehead, Ky., July 25, 1900. — The survey of the Cincinnati & Licking River railroad is about completed between Hillsboro and West Liberty, a distance of 40 miles. Work will begin in the early fall. This road will give Cincinnati direct access to the rich cannel coal fields of Morgan county.
