We found a fair amount of both microfilmed and original records at the Kentucky Archives in Frankfort, Kentucky when we visited there last year. If you have specific information, you can pay for a search and copies. I had made contact with the KY Archives the year before by mail. After successfully finding some documents, my husband and I decided to incorporate going to the Archives as part of a vacation last year. It was great. There was so much information there that's not yet available online. I'm still looking for court documents on a murder trial of my two grand uncles; Marion Francis Dennis and Tuble Mathias Dennis. I have a copy of the original murder indictment where they were charged with shooting a William Igo. The indictment was later marked "not guilty by reason of self defense". If anyone on list is working on the descendants of either Greenberry Dennis (wife Nancy E. Manning Dennis) or the family of William Igo, I would love to exchange information. The murder of William Igo took place early 1900's. (my files are a mess right now since we rearranged our home office, but I'm hoping to get things in order in the next couple of weeks. So if anyone is working on the Igo or Dennis or Manning families, I should be able to share some info with you soon). thanks, Nola Thacker ----- Original Message ----- From: <KYROWAN-D-request@rootsweb.com> To: <KYROWAN-D@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, October 04, 2003 9:01 AM Subject: KYROWAN-D Digest V03 #19
