I was naturally immune and each time I told him he did it last year and he did not believe me. The only thing that saved me from a fourth was we moved to Indiana that year. Yes I do remember him. I screamed every time a DR. came toward me with a needle. Mary Johnson Wallace. >> LOL I can see that grey headed man to this day. My father was in the IOOF LOdge with him and he thought he was wonderful [sorry we children didn't share the same feelings] I remember how they used the same needle over and over and it was one of them metal syringes that I think they use on Animals wasn't it? LOL For a small child it sure was an ominous looking thing. Thank God for those disposable needles. And the nurse who attended him was almost as barbaric as he was. She would help hold the little babies who the mothers brought to school for their small pox Vaccinations or whatever they wanted. What I remember too.....was how Dr. Evans hands shook as he gave the shots.....Talk about being Traumatized. Mary, I know we aren't the ones who were scared stiff by Dr. Evans. Thanks for sharing.
