I have a Samuel LEEDY in my database married to Mary Adeline REPASS. The LEEDYS migrated out of Wythe County, VA as did so many of the early settlers to Morgan, Elliott, Rowan, Carter and surrounding counties. The LEEDYS married into the KEGLEY families and that is my original point of contact with them. This particular Samuel died in 1890 but it is quite conceiveable that the Samuel of the 1900 incident could have been a son or grandson. By the way, I would love to fill in the children of Samuel and Mary Adeline (REPASS) LEEDY if anyone on the list has that information.
