The Rowan County, KY Historical Society is in the process of collecting family histories from those that have lived or are currently living in Rowan County. These histories will be used in a sesquicentennial family history book to be published next year. If you or someone you know that is Rowan County connected would be willing to submit a family history, please contact me via email or the historical society at P.O. Box 60, Morehead, KY 40351. Each family may submit a picture and up to 500 word family history free of charge. A brochure is available if you would like more specific details about the project or go to the society's website at http://rowanco.org/ for more information. I have designed an outline that can be used as a guide to help write a family history and would be glad to email to anyone wanting this guide. Just let me know.
