Since so many people are interested in this book, at we know that it's at least 16 years old, perhaps it's time to consider having a newer edition out. I'm sure that much could be added to what is already there plus there would be the possibility of adding new families.I know I'd be willing to contribue as I'm sure there is nothing about my direct roots, which is the Gadd family. You name it and I'm probably related to the Chasteens, Millers, Hales, Shearers, and only the good Lord knows who else could be included in that list!!Rhonda Shoemaker
Perhaps, the Rockcastle Historical Soc. could take a copy of the book to a local printing company and have them copy it and do a soft binding and then sell it. They could generate some new income for their society and with all the many families in the book, it should sell well. It could be listed on the Rockcastle website. With all the interest in genealogy, its a shame to have this book found only in a few libraries. I'd buy it! Rhonda, That is a good idea, but it is a lot of work of which I am not capable of anymore. Since I missed getting my family into the current book, I would like to get an article about them into a new edition. By chance, are you related to Devada Gadd who married Ronnie Bowling? He is my nephew.
