11-29-2008: From Richmond, Indiana "Pal-Item" Bonnie E. Reed, 69, of Richmond, died Friday, Nov. 28, 2008, at Arbor Trace after a short illness. She was born March 23, 1939, in Rock Castle County, Ky., to Edward and Helen McBrayer Mullins and lived here most of her life. She was a homemaker and former member of the Pentecostal Tabernacle Church. Survivors include five children, Donald Reed of Colorado Springs, Colo., Larry Reed, Sheri Petry and David Reed of Richmond and Michael Reed of Silver Lake; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Gerald Elliott and Clyde Elliott Jr. of Richmond and Billy Elliott of Liberty; two sisters, Carol McGowan of Richmond and Betty Jean Hodges of Kokomo; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by two children, Timothy and Sharon Reed; two grandchildren; her parents; her stepfather, Clyde Elliott Sr.; and other brothers and sisters. Service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home. Friends may call 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
