I am looking for ancestors in the Rockcastle area. My grandfather, Herman Hertig was born in 1889. His father was John(Johannes) Hertig a Swiss immigrant who married Mahalia(Mahaly) Miller 1888, in Rockcastle county. She was the daughter of Anderson Miller and Eliza(Louise) Southard. My grandfather married Margaret(Maggie) Whitaker in 1911 in Pittsburg, Ky. She was the daughter of Fred Whitaker and Mary Smallwood. Does anyone have information about any of them?
