RICHMOND, Ind. -- Bobbie J. McKnight, age 70, died Jan. 27, 2004, at Reid Hospital. Born April 29, 1933, in Laurel County, Ky., she was the daughter of Bert and Elizabeth Hodge Johnson and had lived in this community more than 50 years. She was a member of East Salem Baptist Church in London, Ky. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family. Survivors include two sons, Wayne McKnight, Indianapolis, Ind., and Michael Terry McKnight, Richmond, Ind.; three daughters, Libby Harrison, Fountain City, Ind., Sandy Smith and Nancy Nolte, both of Richmond, Ind.; one brother, Jim Johnson, Florida; two sisters, Mabel Hedrick, London, Ky., and Billie Blanton, Richmond, Ind.; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. McKnight, who died June 24, 1984; three brothers, Melvin, Andy and Amos Johnson; and one sister, Zelma Souders.
