Born Sept. 12, 1917, in Rockcastle County, Ky., the daughter of Samuel and Mollie Owens Coffey worked for the former Jay Garment Co. and owned a hobby and craft shop in Brookville. Survivors include her husband, Lawrence; daughters, Carolyn Clayton and Jacqueline Smith; son, Wayne Morrison; and sister, Daisy Stultz. Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, Brookville, where visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.
