    3. Thank you all for the informative and QUICK responses! I am interested in any more information you might have on Samuel S. Bryant, husband of Elizabeth Langford. Are his parents Samuel Bryant and Nancy Ann Chaney Cooper? If so, I have no info about them except for their names. I am curious about the Chaney Cooper name. Was Nancy married prior to Samuel? Perhaps someone can help me untangle this next mess involving Mary "Mollie" Bryant (daughter of Samuel Bryant and Elizabeth Langford). I have two marriage dates for a Mary Bryant: WOODALL, THOMAS Spouse: BRYANT, MARY E. Marriage Date: 01 Dec 1874 County: Rockcastle State: KY and WOODALL, T. W. Spouse: BRYANT, MARY B. Marriage Date: 24 Dec 1874 County: Rockcastle State: KY As you can see, Mary is listed as Mary E. and Mary B. Could there have been two Mary Bryant's who married a Woodall? Why are there two separate dates? I really know nothing about record keeping back then. William Thomas Woodall and Mary Bryant are my gg-grandparents. It is highly likely that William Woodall went by "Thomas" as did his youngest son. In the 1880 Census, William Woodall is listed as Thomas and Mary is listed as Mary B. In the 1900 Census, William Woodall is listed as William, and Mary is listed as Mollie. Nicknames, argh! Thanks again (I feel like I might be getting somewhere!), Betty
