Dear List and Charles F. Seals, The directions to the George Smith Cemetery that were given to Mr. Seals' question were very close to being correct. "Start at the intersection of State Road #25 and County Route #1004 south of Mt. Vernon, KY., follow #1004 .6 mile to small dirt road on left, park car, climb up steep hillside about 150' to cemetery on the bluff." Instead of the small dirt road and cemetery being on the left, it is on the RIGHT. I'm sure that there was just a typo in the Cemetery Records book. I had my Dad literally map the directions out for me because I was very curious to where this cemetery was after reading how close it was to my childhood home. Janetta McLemore Begley
