Mary Martin Frederick - Hamilton, Ohio, "Journal News," obit dated 8-31-1997 Mary Martin Frederick, age 95, of Hamilton, passed away at Huntington Court, Friday, August 29, 1997 at 8:30 p.m. She was born in Rockcastle County, Kentucky, the daughter of John and Nancy (McGuire) Young. Mary was a member of the Stahlheber Road Baptist Church. In 1917, in Rockcastle County, Kentucky, she was married to Reuben J. Martin and he preceded her in death in 1945; in 1946, in Hamilton, she was married to Robert Frederick and he preceded her in death in 1972. She is survived by two sons, Carl and his wife, Lucy Martin and Pleas and his wife, Nancy Martin both of Hamilton; two daughters, Catherine Green and Viola Haven both of Hamilton; three step-daughters, Hazel Moore and Edna Hickey both of Lexington, Kentucky and Ruth and her husband, Joe Mistler of Tennessee; twenty-nine grandchildren; sixty great grandchildren; and a number of great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sons, John, Ben, Robert and Harry, one daughter, Norma Jean Martin, one step-daughter, Nina Clemmons; two sons-in-law, Fred Green and Frank Haven; two step-sons, Jess and Frank Frederick; four brothers Pleas, George, Ben and William and two sisters, Sally McGuire and Sarah Clark. Funeral services will be held at the Brown Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Harold Thompson, Pastor of Stahlheber Road Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 9:30 am. to 10:30 a.m.
