    3. >From Richmond, Indiana "Pal-Item" Verna E. Dillon, age 83, of Eaton, Ohio, died Wednesday, July 14, 2004, at Hospice of Dayton. She was born July 1, 1921, in London, Ky., the daughter of the late John and Susie (Neal) Cottingim. On Aug. 14, 1940, she married Lloyd D. Dillon. She was a member of the Darrtown Methodist Church, and she and her late husband, Lloyd, farmed for many years. She is survived by four children, Joseph H. Dillon of Camden, Robert E. Dillon of Camden, Wanda Jane (Robert) Butler of West Milton, Ohio, and Jackie L. (David) Gard of Richmond, Ind.; one brother, Russell Cottingim of Camden; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; five brothers, Fred Cottingim, Elmer Cottingim, Leslie Cottingim, Sherman Cottingim and Ellis Cottingim; three sisters, Mabel Monce, Myrtle Michael and Carrie Brummett; two grandsons, Daniel Butler and Nicholas Butler. ARRANGEMENTS: Visitation will be held Saturday, July 17, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Nein-Thompson Funeral Home, 249 N. Main St. in Camden. Funeral services will be immediately following visitation at the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Metzger officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
