James Jefferson Stigall, b 1807 Rockcastle Co., died 1891, Lincoln Co., KY, believed to be son of George Stygall. J.J. Stigall m 1828, Lincoln Co., Almira Fish, neice of Jesse Fish. Jesse Fish m Evaline Anderson, dau. of Capt. Henry Anderson, under whom he was acting as deputy shriff around 1822. ( Capt. Anderson's wife was a Miss Stigall, who owned all the land around present day Brodhead, then known as Stigall's Station.) J. Allen Singleton, Berea, KY.
