Looks like a group of Renfro's left Kentucky about the same time as my gggrandfather George W. Henson .... that all went to Grundy Co MO. I am showing a James Crisman Renfro b April 25, 1818, probably Knox Co KY, as the son of William H Renfro and Nancy Van Bibber who married Nov 20, 1806 Knox Co KY. James Chrismon/Crisman Renfro had a brother Marcus and a brother Samuel Houston Renfro who married Elizabeth Jane Henson on Nov 16, 1848 Knox Co KY. James Renfro married Susan Thraikill on Aug 29, 1839 Grundy Co MO. Do you know anything about the Renfro's that moved to Grundy Co MO? They seem to be connected to my Henson line who also moved to Grundy Co MO, along with Elkins, Metcalfs, Blacks, Casteels and other from the Laurel Co KY area, including Rockcastle and Knox. Anybody know anything on these Renfro's who moved to Grundy Co MO??? I have 'a lot' of early Renfro's listed in my Kentucky data-base.
