    3. Hello all! First, I have to warn that the following information is based on information gathered from the Census, and my own speculation, hunches, and deduction. My 3rd great-grandparents were James Woodall & his wife, Eliza Jane, through their son William Thomas Woodall. I believe Eliza Jane Woodall died February 5, 1901 and is buried in Brodhead Baptist Church Cemetery. I do not have a maiden name for Eliza Jane, but I am hoping to discover it through her descendants. I don't have access to any Ky death records except for the Ky Death Index online, which starts at 1911. So, I am trying to find one of her children's death certificate, which sometimes lists the mother's maiden name (if known). However, in the 1900 Census, Eliza Jane states that only 4 of her 9 children are still living. I know three were William Thomas, Eliza Ann, and Nancy "Nannie". William Thomas died in 1910, so this doesn't help. This is where I *think* the Jarrett family comes in. In the 1880 Census, Lucinda Woodall is married to John Jarrett, and they have children Luther, Owen, John, & Della. On August 13, 1883, John Jarrett married Nannie Woodall, Lucinda's sister. Did John & Lucinda divorce or did she die? I speculate that she passed away. John & Nannie had daughter Lou & Dolly (Census info). On August 23, 1889 Eliza Ann married John Roberts. I don't think they had any children. So, if I can find the death certificates (or descendants->) for Mrs. Nannie Jarrett & Mrs. Eliza Ann Roberts, perhaps it will list their mother's (Eliza Jane) maiden name. Thanks! Betty
