    3. D Jean Shoemaker, You addressed your e mail to Rose and sent it to me; Fern. Knowing the date of publication I am aware of the Copy Right laws. Now, can you at least give me the BUFORD names in the book. I don't for a minute think Rose intended to violate the Copy Right law - she was only trying to help people. Is the book still for sale and if so how much are you asking for it.?!?! Best wishes, fern www.bufordfamilies.com ----- Original Message ----- From: Djeanshoe@aol.com To: rumycuzn@bresnan.net Sent: Thursday, September 18, 2008 7:07 PM Subject: Re: Buford Rose: There are Bufords in our Rockcastle County and It's People Book, we have a copy rite on this Book. 3. Hi, Don, I just got this message from the Rockcastle County Historical Society: Rose: I guess you know that we have a Copy rite on this Book and you cannot copy more that 15 pages. >From what I see you are going to be copying more that you are allowed to copy. Dorotha Jean Shoemaker, Rockcastle County Historical Society, INC. Here's my reply: Actually, I didn't know that. Perhaps, there is something the historical society could do for all these researchers that don't have access to the book, while generating funds for your society. You might have this put on Rockcastle's website and for a fee, copy the info and send to researcher's requesting it. When I've copied from any book in my library's genealogical section, there has never been any info posted about copyrights. Thanks for this info.
