Looking in Pulaski County for information regarding John L. Brown b 1865 , son of William Brown and Ellen?? John married Malissie Walker of Knox County in 1901. Prior to marrying and moving to Knox County John and parents were in Pulaski County. Did John have siblings? Where were his parents born? What is Ellen's maiden name? Any information appreciated. I am working on my husbands genealogy. His fathers side of the family came from Pulaski Co. KY. His grandparents were Benjamin Samuel Jackson b. May 1885-Dykes, Pulaski Co. KY. Benjamin married Ida Belle Adams. Ida was born July 1887-Somerset,Pulaski Co. KY . Benjamins parents were John Jackson b. ca 1846-Pulaski Co. KY and Patsey Ellen Boyd b. Feb 1851. Ida's parents are not known for sure. On Ida's application for social security benefits, it shows Ida's parents as Joe Adams and Savania Snow. On the 1900-Pulaski Co. KY census, it shows Ida and her brother, James T Adams living with their grandfather, Joel M Adams. Does anyone have any information that will help us with these families? Linda
