JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON ESTHER CENTERS FROM THE MIDDLETOWN (OH) JOURNAL 1/20/08 Esther Reed Centers, Age 88, of Middletown, OH passed away January 19, 2008 at home. She was born April 21, 1919 in Stanton, KY. She retired from dietary at Middletown Regional Hospital in 1983. Esther is survived by seven children, Joyce Creekbaum, Jeanette Evans, Ken (Jean) Centers, Gordon (Cindy) Centers, Brenda Hurley, Linda (Dave) Grove, and Victor Centers; 20 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and 7 great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucinda and William Reed; husband, Pastel Centers; sons-in-law Don Creekbaum, Bill Evans, and Bill Hurley; her grandson, Bill Creekbaum; six brothers, Clarence, Charlie, Ovie, Frank, Sam and Everett Reed; and two sisters, Della Wells and Ida Oden. The family wished to say a special "thanks" to Middletown Hospice, especially Ann Marie Horn, Melissa Murphy, Cathy Biar, Terri Shirley and Lois Allen for their loving care. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. January 22, 2008 at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffl! er Funeral Home with Reverend Jimmy Anderson officiating. Visitation will be from 4-6:00 P.M. on January 21, 2008 at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Butler County Memorial Park.
