JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON EDGAR MILLER FROM THE MIDDLETOWN (OH) JOURNAL 6/29/09 Edgar Miller, age 91, of Milford, OH, formerly of Florence, KY, passed away June 27, 2009 at the Hospice of Blue Ash. He was born in Powell County, KY on December 4, 1917, the son of Floyd and Polly Miller. He worked for 30 years at Armco Steel, retiring as a Steam Engineer in the Power Department. Mr. Miller was a proud veteran of the Army, serving with distinction during World War II, where he was awarded the Purple Heart and became the most decorated soldier in Grant County. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Milford, and a former member of Immanuel Baptist Church of Florence, KY. He was a Life Member of both the VFW and the DAV. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Loretta Romans Miller; a daughter, Judy Baugh of Milford, OH; a son, Jerry Miller of Amelia, OH; 7 grandchildren, and 14 greatgrandchildren; a sister, Mildred Boggs of Chandler, AZ and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM June 30, 2009 at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffl! er Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM July 1, with Pastor William Duttry officiating. Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park, with military rites performed by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
