Good evening, I am wondering if someone can tell me how I can locate a local newspaper that lists current obits? I can seem to find one. The obituary I am looking for is for a pastor's wife that died last week and was buried Saturday May 31, 2008. She was Mrs. Harold Kelly and lived in Clay City, KY. Any help would be appreciated. I am not familiar with any Kentucky newspapers so and not having much luck. Mary Ann

Mary Ann, http://www.kentucky.com/ is the website for the Lexington Herald-Leader, which is the daily paper for the area. Unfortunately, it did not have much information (copied below) Linda Jean Kelly CLAY CITY - Linda Jean Kelly, 57, Winchester Rd, wife of Harold Kelly died Tue. Services 2pm Sat, Wells Funeral Home, Stanton. Visit 5-9pm Fri. Published in the Lexington Herald-Leader on 5/30/2008. The only local paper is the Clay City Times, which is a weekly. Their online version at http://www.hatfieldnewspapers.com/current/cctmain.html did not have an obituary, so it will probably be on next week sometime.
