Born January 25, 1922 in Powell County, KY. Retiree from Dayton Tire & Rubber Co. Preceded in death by parents, James & Letha (Rogers) Tipton, wife of 45 years, Mildred (Jackie) Tipton and granddaughter, Amy S. Holderbaum. He is survived by 5 children, Tom (Carol) Tipton, Jim (Angie) Tipton, Vickey (Jon) Corwin, Jeanie Jacobs and Carl Tipton. He has 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
