JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON MARGARET BARKER FROM THE MIDDLETOWN (OH) JOURNAL 7/7/08 Margaret Pearl Burus Barker, age 82 of Middletown, OH passed away July 5, 2008 at her residence. She was born March 16, 1926 in Stanton, KY, the daughter of Fred Burus and Callie (Hatton) Burus. Mrs. Barker enjoyed BINGO and word search. She was manager of Sorg Mansion for over 20 years and was loved by many. Margaret loved her family, flowers, and her dog, (Buddy). She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Shirley of Middletown, OH and Donna (husband, Joe) Johnson of Middletown; a son, James Barker of Middletown; six grandchildren, Jesse Shirley, Robert Wilson, Jr., Kelley McIntosh, Jeana Roberts, Cindy Hay, and Christopher Brady; five great grandchildren, Christopher McIntosh, Anna McIntosh, Katlyn Roberts, Max Hay and Josie Hay; three sisters, Marcella Smallwood, Betty Keller, and Edna Mae Woolwine; four brothers, Hubert, Pete, Bobby and Raymond Burus. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul Barker in 1988; daughter-in-law, Brenda Barker in 2002; and three brothers, Ray, Russell, and Charles Burus. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM July 9, 2008 at the Breitenbach - McCoy - Leffler Funeral Home with Pastor James Roberts officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 PM July 8, 2008 at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Butler County Memorial Park. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
