JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON MYRTLE BOWLING FROM THE HAMILTON (OH) JOURNAL-NEWS 6/14/09 Myrtle Hall Bowling, age 89 of Hamilton, OH passed away at her residence on June 12, 2009. She was born in Powell County, KY on August 5, 1919 the daughter of Garrett B. and Amanda (McRoberts) Hall. Myrtle was a member of Eastern Star #195. On May 1, 1943 in Newport, KY she married Lee Bowling. She is survived by her husband, Lee Bowling of Hamilton; two daughters, Linda Houston of Hamilton and Sandra Grace Bowling of Phoenix, AZ; one sister, Virginia Mistler of Hamilton; three grandchildren, Victor Scott (Alana) Houston, Katrina Houston, both of Hamilton, and Sterling Streder of Phoenix, AZ; four great-grandchildren, Anthony, Brandon, Robbie, Reagan, as well as one on the way; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mildred Smith; and a half-brother, Morris West. Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on June 16, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jacob Flannery offici! ating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until time of service.
