Hi everyone, I just received some books on Powell County and they are great. I usually don't do this, but, if you have family centered in Powell County, I heartily recommend these! These are great! The Red River Historical Society has published 13 volumes of court records and they're great! Very informative. I've found information on some of my Estill Co. folks in these. Also, The Drawing Board in Arroyo Grande CA has published books taken from old newspapers. There are quite a few Estill Co. folks in these as well.
