Seeking parents of George Harvey Owens. George was born about 1849 in TN. He married Cynthia Ann Puckett-(born 1-29-1852) in Estill County, KY on 8-15-1871. After the marriage George, and Cynthia moved to Powell County, KY. Between about 1875-1877 George reportedly died of a gunshot wound. Cynthia then married a Henry Allen in Estill County on 12-18-1877. If anyone has any information on the circumstances of George's death I would appreciate knowing about it. George and Cynthia are my great- grandparents.
