In the Red River Historical Society's Newsletter Volume 6 No. 3 1998. There is a picture titled the Sharp Family. In the picture are: John C. B. Sharp, Moses or Tillman and Sarah Elizabeth (daughter of Mary Ann Sharp. This family lived near the mouth of Hardwicks Creek or Vaughns Mill, Ky. in 1800. Several Sharps resided here and were buried at the home site. There is a story about William A. L. B. Sharp, sheriff of Estill Co., Ky. in 1842. The picture and story was donated by David and Patricia Nelson, 2789 Kellogg Creek Road, Acworth, Georgia 30102.
