Doug Morton passed away yesterday. Doug was very active in the reorganization of the Red River Historical Society in the early 90's. His books and work on various genealogy and historical projects leaves a wealth of information for the people interested in Powell County. His wife Mildred Morton resides at 524 Boone Creek Road Stanton, Ky. 403830 As soon as I learn of the arrangements, I will write again. Diane Rogers
