Thursday February 17 will be the monthly meeting of the Red River Historical Society Meeting. Note change of location, price of meal and time. We need for you to register with Larry Meadows if you are going. The staff at Boonesborough will be preparing a meal and we need to let them know by MONDAY AROUND NOON how many will be eating. COST: $6.00 for the meal After the meal there will be two programs: 1 - Daniel Boone adventures by Scott New and 2 - The Long Hunters' daily life by Bill Farmer. Please RSVP as soon as you read this if you are going to be at Boonesborough for the meal. Due to snow the January meeting had a minimal number of people who braved the cold to come out.
