JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON GAYLE WINGETT FROM THE DAYTON (OH) DAILY NEWS 6/28/07 Gayle Ashley Wingett, Age 71, passed away June 25, 2007 at Hospice of Dayton. Gayle was born December 29,1935 in Nada, KY, and lived most of her life in Dayton, OH. She became an LPN at the age of 48 and worked at Grace Brethren Village in Englewood, OH until she retired. Her life evolved around learning, she always said "A House is not a Home without Books." Gayle was preceded in death by father Victor Ashley, step father Bruce Vice, granddaughter Katy Marsh, brothers Austin and Bruce Vice, and her favorite cousin "Gus" Brewer. Survived by her son Brad Marsh, her daughter Suzy Marsh, her grandson Jesse Marsh, her mother Nannie Vice, sisters Lela Stromenger and Delta Rose McCracken. Even through her death she created an opportunity for learning by making an anatomical gift to Wright State University. Gayle and Katy will be buried at the Ashley Cemetery in Nada, KY at a future date.
