My great grandmother was Elvira (Ella) Mullins born Feb. 1881 Wolfe Co KY. She was the daughter of Jeptha Mullins and Louisa (Little ?) Mullins. In a deposition, Elvira says, "My mother died before I was quite three years old. My father raised me. No, he never remarried after the death of my mother. When I was about 4 years old he moved with me to Powell county. We lived on Red river near Bowen station till I was twelve years old...." Does anyone have info on this family? I'm guessing they had family in Powell Co. Connie D.

Need a 1930 census look-up for Ben Hampton (aka Benjamin, B F), wife Mary, sons Rex, Walter. Should be in Powell county, but possibly Wolfe or Estill. He worked in the Oil Fields. Thanks, Monty Reed
