In the Rogers book that my Aunt and I published in 1994. There was several Profitts listed. The Henry Profitt we have b 1899 m. Nellie McCoy b 21 Oct. 1899. ((Nellie was a descendant of my 6 ggggg grandfather William Rogers. He had 14 children at his death and the settling of his estate. Rumor has it he had 22 altogether. We do not have a lot about the older Profitts. We have a listing of their children. I go to church with Angie Shoemaker and Billie Caudill --- They are daus of Lorna Evelyn Profitt and Forrest Rogers. Lorna was a dau of Nellie and Henrys. If you haven't heard about the book I will be glad to send you information about it.
