The Hall's and Garrett's you mention are my relatives also. I went to Mtg. library last week and found a folder from a lady in Calif. and she left a copy of all her notes but there were so many w/o a final family tree. About the first time I wrote you by mail (lyr?) I found on the Mtg. website where you were researching these names. Also there were one from a Bob Cook dtd 23 Jan 1999. He gave all the abstracts of deeds of Mtg.Co. First deed was dtd 1815 Thomas J. sold a slave to Wm. proceeds going to unnamed heirs of Henry Garrett, deceased. Heirs represented by Peter R. Garrett. and on the 1820 census there were 11 Garrett families listed.
