She was born January 26, 1928 in Powell County, KY and had lived in Middletown since 1954. She was employed at the Raymond Bag Company and then in the cafeteria at the Middletown Schools for 14 years, retiring in 1974. She was a member of the Breiel Boulevard First Church Of God. She was preceded in death by parents: Lewis and Rosie Begley Mastin; husband: Johnnie Johnson, 1984; 2 brothers: Cecil Mastin, 2001; Harold Mastin, 2007. She is survived by 1 son: Kenneth Wayne Johnson, wife Paula Jean, Monroe, OH; 1 grandson: Kenneth Ryan Johnson, wife Peggy, Monroe, OH; 2 great grandchildren: Andrew and Nathan; 1 brother: Paul Mastin , wife Christine, KY; sister: Monda Lee Martin, husband Orville, KY. Visitation will be November 25, 2007 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown. He was born in Stanton, KY on May 18, 1936 to parents James F. and Irene (Whisman) Moreland. Dan was the owner of Red Lion Truck and Supply Company for 38 years. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Moreland is survived by his wife, Marjorie (Abdon) Moreland; one son, Danny E. (Molly) Moreland Jr.; two brothers, William (Faye) Moreland and James Moreland; special friends, Mac & Wilmetta Harper; as well as many other relatives & friends.     3. Found this obit on the internet. Anyone know which Robert Combs she was married to? Carter Jettie Evelyn Combs, a resident of Porter and former resident of Humble, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2007 at the age of 83 years. Evelyn was born March 3, 1924 in Powell County, Kentucky to the late Lemon and Maggie (Hall) Hatton. Evelyn is survived by a loving family; her beloved husband, Robert; two daughters, Wanda Faye Shelton and her husband John, of Charleston, South Carolina, and Carolyn Payne Bess, of Humble; two brothers, George Hatton and his wife Jan, of Bullhead City, Arizona, and Butch Hatton and his wife Frances, of Lexington, Kentucky; two sisters, Dorothy Helton and Nellie Faye Anderson, both of Lexington, Kentucky; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two godchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, September 21, 2007, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway in Pearland. A celebration of Evelyn's life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 22, 2007, in the chapel of Clayton Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Anderson officiating. For those desiring memorials may be made in Evelyn's honor to a charity of one's choice.
