    1. [KYPOWELL] "Old STORM"
    2. Storm See
    3. Here in the early morning hours , I have noticed myself being referred to as "Old Storm" on the list's and in private messages. Well I'm starting to resemble that remark, so I dug out my trusty Webster's Dictionary and looked up "old" my findings are as follows: 1.Having lived or existed for a very long time [ I don't think that applies yet] 2.of a specified age [well thats not to bad] 3. former [ I'm still here] 4.Not new [ NOW THAT WORKS] So to my beloved colleague's who have taken to using Old Storm, I would appreciate it if you would refer to me as "Used Storm" and spare my feelings............P.S." slightly used "will be considered a compliment. Have a great day and a better tomorrow...Used Storm ______________________________________________ Storm E.See <[email protected]> ______________________________________________

    1. [KYPOWELL] December meeting of the RRHS
    2. Diane Rogers
    3. It is party time and even better eating time!!!! Bring your favorite dish for a pot luck meal and join us for the Christmas meeting of the Red River Historical Society on Thursday, December 16 at 7 p.m. in the Clay City Municipal Building. It is on Main Street, if you should need directions, please let me know. The society will be providing 2 turkeys and dressing. Hopefully every else will bring a "BIG POT" and invite friends and future members to come. This is a good meeting to see most of our members. We have had about 60-70 join us for the Christmas meal in the past. Guest are very welcomed. If you have an old time, family favorite recipe this would be a good time to bring it. The new dishes will be delicious also. Some people suggested a Society cook book a few years ago. If you would like to share your recipe with others bring it with you. NO PROMISES but we could make copies just for the society members if there is enough interest. If for some reason you can't make it to our meeting let me say Merry Christmas to you and yours. Diane Rogers
