We have an Ada Frazier who married Roy Billings in our Rogers book. Ada passed away this year. We know several of her children. Ada went to the same church we did in Stanton. We have several Howell's ((no Lewis)) in our Rogers family also. I would suggest you contact Mary Peavyhouse at. [email protected] She has collected a lot of information on Howell's of this area. She also is related to the Brandenburg family. The book I mentioned was started by my Aunt Ellen Rogers a retired teacher. She started recording her family in mid 1960. But the task kept growing. In 1980 we published a first book. So many people contacted us we did a revision in 1994. We have 703 pages of people who are Rogers or descendants of our Rogers family or in some cases information on people's families who have married into the family. The family did start in Estill Co., Ky. but many off springs have made it to various parts of the world. The book contains as much information as we could get from various relatives. The earliest person we found was a Susannah Rogers listed as head of the household in the 1810 census. Children we believe to be hers were William --- my 6 g grandfather. He and his wife Abigail Larrison had 22 children by according to several sources - we found 14 in their estate settlement in court. The book has several pictures of families. A full name index. We tried to include the usual birth date death date marriage date and spouses name parents names for the spouse where the people were living vocations and any other interesting tidbits we could find name and address of people who gave us information on these families. I will be glad to tell you more if you are interested.
