    3. Dear Joan, I think we are talking about the same families. I have Sobrina (Sibby) Hulse b 19 Aug 1859 in Frankfort, Franklin Co., Ky. Her parents were: James Hulse and Margaret Berry. Sibby first married James Curtis (no date or parents). Married second, Wallace 'Tol' Patton on 3 Oct 1889. James Huls and Margaret Berry were married bef 1849 in Montgomery Co., Ky. Margaret Berry was b ca 1833/35, d ca 1907/08 in West Bend, Powell Co., Ky. Her husband James Hulse b ca 1829, d. ca 1880 Margarets second husband was Elijah Wills, b ca 1806 d ca 1894, they married 3 Feb, 1881. Margarets 3rd husband was John E. Fisher and they married on 16 Jan 1895. This is the data that I have and information came from Kim Davis and Phyllis Meadows who both have done some extensive research on the Hulse and Berry lines. I have some of their data from census records and marriage records as well. Does this help or confuse. Would like to share notes. 3. Are you familiar with the Red River Historical Society we are located in Powell Co., Ky. www.redriverkentucky.com is a good site to find out more about us. There are several books that have been published by the society and also Doug Morton has marriages, newspaper articles typed up for sale. I will send other information if you need it. I have marriage books and will check for marriages. I just looked in the Estill Co. marriage book 1808 to 1900. They have: Simpson Hall m. Dora Charles 30 Dec. 1886 at the residence of James Charles. Simpson was 21 years old. b in Estill Co. residing at Vaughn's Mill. first marriage parents b Estill Co. Dora 15 born in Estill Co. residing at Vaughn's Mill. first marriage. There was also a Simpson Hall m. Dolly Boothe 30 May 1861 at the residence of William Boothe. Simpson was 24 b in Estill Co. and Dolly was 24 b in Estill Co. second marriage. I am moving so my time is limited. But I did try to look in 1870 and 1880 Estill Co. and 1880 Powell Co. Census. Didn't find anything unless I missed it. Two weeks later Simpson followed his dad. He had 4-5 children by lst marriage and 3 by 2nd wife. I answered the query about Jack and his wife Emmie. On the 1910 Powell census is the following: Jack (40) 1870 m: 6 yrs Emmie (23) 1877] Mila M. (F) 4 1906 Reene Clay (3) 1907 no name l/12 1910 On the 1900 Powell census it shows Simpson as having another child but was James Dudley died young.
