    2. Rita, I am truly hurt to hear of Monty's death. I am a cousin on the REED side. My GF and his dad were either brothers or cousins(?). If available and not too much trouble, I would like to have his SAR papers since they directly affect me and my search for membership in the SAR. Please accept my sincere condolences and thanks for letting me know of this sad news. Paul Hall **************Start the year off right. My grandfather is Walter Hall, who listed his parents as Simpson Hall and Dora Charles. I found a census in 1900 who lists the head of the house as "Limp" which may be due to dialect. His wife is listed as Eldora and children as Denisa, Walter, Algion and Emma. My grandfather is buried in the Winchester cemetary and his headstone says his birth was 1889, but I have found records that indicate he was born later, about 1894. He said little of his past, to my mother who was his youngest child, except that he didn't live his whole childhood with his parents, but lived with whoever would let him work for a place to live.
