She was manager of Sorg Mansion for over 20 years and was loved by many. Margaret loved her family, flowers, and her dog, (Buddy). The obituary I am looking for is for a pastor's wife that died last week and was buried Saturday May 31, 2008. She was Mrs. Harold Kelly and lived in Clay City, KY. Any help would be appreciated. I am not familiar with any Kentucky newspapers so and not having much luck. Mary Ann

I am not certain which Ova Combs is his father but I have an Ova Combs, b 1925, s/o William Goebel Combs and Esther Lunsford that is a possibility as they were in Wolfe Co. According to the Kentucky Birth Index, Gregory Allen Combs was born to Gerri Cline in 13 Sep 1966 and Ova Combs III and Alisha Gail Combs were born to Wilma J McCarty, 26 Dec 1980 and 13 Jan 1982, respectively. Carter Ova Combs, Jr Born: 03/21/1947 Died: 05/15/2008 Visitation: 6-8 PM Sunday Funeral Service: 1:00 PM Monday Interment: Clarmont Memorial Gardens Ova Combs Jr., 61, of 240 Skinner Branch Rd., Clay City, partner of Linda Hedrick, passed away at 8:53 PM Thursday May 15, 2008 at his home. A native of Wolfe County, he was the son of Marie Dunn Combs of Winchester and the late Ova Combs Sr. He was a retired employee of the Clark County Fiscal Court, former custodian at St. Agatha Academy and a member of the Berean Baptist Church. Additional survivors include two sons, Ova Combs III of Clay City and Gregory Allen Combs of Winchester; one daughter, Alisha Gail Combs of Clay City; two grandchildren, Dylan Neal of Clay City and Alexa Baker of Clay City; two brothers, Gary Combs of Winchester and Jimmy Combs of Winchester; two sisters, Darlene Adkinson of Winchester and Karen Spencer of Winchester and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
