I'm seeking information on John E. Walters and his wife, Louisiana "Louisa" Hurt. Both were born in Pike Co. and probably married there, but moved to Kansas between 1890 and 1900. I'm particularly interested in learning their actual birth dates, marriage information, the identity of John's parents, and any information of the deaths of Louisa's parents, Absalom Hurt and Elizabeth Bevins. Walters, b. abt 1846, Pike Co., may have died about 1919 in Holton, Jackson Co., KS; married Louisiana Hurt (usually called Louisa), abt 1866, probably in Pike Co. Louisa Hurt, b. abt 1850, Pike Co., may have died about 1929, possibly in Topeka, KS. Known children of John Walters and Louisa Hurt all born in KY: Martella E. Walters, F., b. abt 1869 Cordelia A.
