I hope the foregoing information is enough to help you to connect my FIELDS to Pike County. One lady out of Louisville tried to find these folks in federal censuses, but she wasn't successful. Even suggested that I write the post master in Millstone and have my letter routed to the oldest person in the town. I took that suggestion, but so far nothing. She also suggested writing someone in the area that has a similar name to my grandfather; I took that suggestion, but so far nothing. I have joined the FIELDS-L talk group, but I haven't pick-up any clues. Since you live in the area, maybe you might have some insights that you could share with me. Thank you very much, FRED L.
