I would like to share information on the descendants of Cornelius ROBERTS b ca 1745 and killed by Indians while living in Russell Co, VA. His son, James ROBERTS, Sr, md Nancy "Annie" DAMERON and lived on Shelby/Caney Cr. of Pike Co. starting about 1806. His daughter, Elizabeth md Abraham CHILDERS (Rev. War Vet) and lived in Perry Co, KY from about 1810. Oldest son of James, Sr. was a Cornelius who md Nancy STANLEY, and they had son Owen "Odey" who md Delila CAUDILL my grgrandparents.
