Candy, Yes I have looked for a death certificate, even took a trip to Pike Co. to look, but no luck. Yes, have scoured the National Archives for Census data, but never found any reference of her father "Ran" and there were simply too many 4 year old Marys to deal with. I searced diligently, however for Mary Blackburn in the 1890, 1910 and 1920 census, but turned up dry. But thanks for the tips, hopefully, someone will mention something I haven't tried, like a book or something.
