I am trying to get info on the Slones of Pike County especially in the Freeburn and Peters Creek area. William "Bill" Slone around born in 1850-60 with at least a son named John. I do not have anything on the slones, so any and all information would be appreciated. I am from Buchanan County, VA about 6 miles on Rt. 460 below Grundy and now live in Roanoke, VA. I would be interested in chatting with anyone with ties to the SLONEs in this area of Pike and Buchanan counties. Have agreat day..... Joe
