    3. Gloria, I looked in Kentucky Marriage Records and didn't see a John Bartley or anyone by the name of Sykes listed in the index. I have occassionally found names that aren't listed in the index, but that's the best I can do as they aren't really in order in the book. 1. [KYPIKE-L] Sargent Family
    2. Hi I'm new to this list. I wonder if anyone has the census for 1910 and have a family listed with the name Sargent. I don't know the father's first name but the wife's name is Lydia and one of the children's name is either Nora or Eleanor. I thought they were in Harlan Co. but there's no record of them there.

    3. I know you've probably looked into these sources as well, but I thought I'd try another suggestion or two just in case: Did you by chance check into Buchanan County, VA or the other surrounding counties? Based on my families... they moved back and forth across the border. They were born in one state, married in another and appear on the census for different years in both. If she died after 1920, there has to be a death certificate for her somewhere. Perhaps she lived long enough to have a social security card? (I forgot the date of her death). 2. Good Morning list, I have some question about the Meredith COLLINS household and wondered if anybody has some answers . 1) Does anybody know where Meredith is buried? 2) Does anybody know what happened to Milly Johnson and their son? 3) 1838 court appointed a Richard P. Robinson as guardian to Meredith; does anybody know anything about Robinson, who he was and if he was related in any way to Meredith? Any help appreciated. Brenda Collins Dillon

    3. Candy, Yes I have looked for a death certificate, even took a trip to Pike Co. to look, but no luck. Yes, have scoured the National Archives for Census data, but never found any reference of her father "Ran" and there were simply too many 4 year old Marys to deal with. I searced diligently, however for Mary Blackburn in the 1890, 1910 and 1920 census, but turned up dry. But thanks for the tips, hopefully, someone will mention something I haven't tried, like a book or something. Thanks again... ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com

    3. Hi, I have Lucy Burke married to (John?) Reuben Anderson in 1824. Their daughter Susanna Anderson married (John?) Martin Johnson Nov 26, 1843 in Pike Co. They had children: Lucy, Christiania, Nancy, James, George, Rubin, Mary and Isaac. Isaac Johnson married Louise Hackneyin 1884 - Pike Co. These are my GG grandparents One census record said Susanna Anderson was born in VA - abt 1825. Is anyone researching Burke, Anderson, and Johnson in the Pike Co/VA area?
